Encuentros/Encounters is a
collaboration between SomArts, The Mission Cultural Center, Galeria
de la Raza and the De Young Museum's 'Chicano Now' exhibit. From 6-10PM on Saturday all three galleries will have simultaneous opening
receptions and transportation between these events will be provided by The Mexican Bus. Each gallery will have its own unique programming and performances. At SomArts the idea of encounters is being used to create an interactive environment during the reception. FEATURING:
