This year's multi-sensory
exhibition will feature works by over 150 visual artists,
poets, musicians, dancers and performance artists.
Celebrating the dynamic cafe tradition of the 18th-19th
centuries, framed and unframed work will be displayed
'salon style', in the 30,000 square foot, SOMARTS Bay
Gallery. The two week long fundraiser begins with a
SILENT AUCTION on Opening Night. It will feature two
Saturday afternoon performances with artists creating
live art from models, offering the public a rare
opportunity to see artists at work. Closing Night kicks
off with a RAFFLE for an original piece of artwork
followed by music, entertainment and a time for sharing
ideas and impressions of the 2nd Annual Café Show. All
works showcased are for sale by cash, check or credit
card. Join us for this unique opportunity to interact
with a wide array of innovative Bay Area art and artists,
from various perspectives and traditions. And be a part
of a community effort to preserve the services and
facility of SOMARTS, a pioneering San Francisco Arts and
Cultural institution. Visit http://www.artworksf.com
